Our Mission The Verification Unit is a team of relentless volunteers from diverse backgrounds , united by one goal— to fight fraud and protect Ukraine . What began as a mission to expose scammers impersonating Ukrainian soldiers and officials has uncovered a far deeper problem: Every Scam Has Three Victims: Ukraine —as stolen donations never reach those who need them. The person targeted —deceived, manipulated, and often financially exploited. Ukraine again —as trust in giving is destroyed, and people stop donating altogether.
